Want Eren Yeager Hairstyle? Here's How!

Who is Eren Yeager?

One of the primary characters and protagonists in the manga and anime Attack on Titan is Eren Yeager. He patrols Wall Maria's outer walls as a member of the Survey Corps, an elite military unit.

When Shiganshina District was still a part of Wall Maria, Eren was born to Grisha and Carla Yeager. Eren had a pleasant childhood until the fall of Wall Maria when he was nine years old. His mother died soon after from injuries he suffered during the fall, and his father was killed by a titan.

Eren Yeager’s hairstyle from Attack on Titan has become iconic, especially in his later appearances. Here’s a guide to achieving that look:

1. Choose the Right Eren Hairstyle:

  • Season 1-3 Look: Eren’s hair is shorter, with long bangs that reach near his eyebrows and a messy, layered appearance at the back.
  • Final Season Look: His hair grows out to shoulder-length, tied in a loose man-bun at the back, with some strands framing his face.

2. Get the Cut:

  • Season 1-3 Cut: Ask your stylist for medium-length, layered hair with a bit of extra length around the bangs. Texturizing the hair a bit will add to the natural, messy look.
  • Final Season Look: Grow your hair out until it’s at least shoulder length, ideally with a bit of layering to add dimension. Keep the front shorter so that some face-framing strands fall naturally when tied back.

3. Styling Tips:

  • For Shorter, Messier Eren: Use a small amount of matte-finish hair wax. Apply it to the hair’s ends to get that slightly spiky, messy look. Run your fingers through to add texture.
  • For the Man-Bun Eren: Tie it in a low, loose bun to avoid a super polished look. Leave a few front pieces to frame your face and make it look relaxed.

4. Hair Maintenance:

  • Keep hair healthy and conditioned to retain volume and texture. Regular trims (even if growing it out) will help keep the hair looking sharp and clean.

Are you aiming for the classic Eren look or the Final Season one?
